Payout
Create a payout
Disburse INR to an Indian bank account by account number and IFSC. Balance is debited on submit, the transfer passes a review step, and a failed or reversed transfer refunds the amount plus fee automatically.

Request parameters
Beneficiary name must match the bank record closely enough for the receiving bank to accept it.
| Parameter | Required | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| user_id | yes | int | Merchant ID |
| merchant_order_no | yes | string | Your payout order number, unique |
| amount | yes | decimal | INR, 100 – 20,000 |
| name | yes | string | Beneficiary account holder name |
| bank_card_no | yes | string | Bank account number |
| ifsc | yes | string | IFSC code, e.g. SBIN0001234 |
| callback_url | yes | string | Where we POST the result |
| sign | yes | string | MD5 signature |
Signature — four values only
Note the difference from collection: no pay_type, no callback_url. Sending the collect signature here is the most common integration error.
sign = md5(user_id + merchant_order_no + amount + key)
Order states
Two states return money. Treat 3 and 4 as terminal refunds, not as "retry immediately".
| status | Meaning | Refund |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | Under review | — |
| 1 | Processing | — |
| 2 | Success | — |
| 3 | Failed | Automatic |
| 4 | Reversed — confirmed but not delivered | Automatic |
Fee and balance
Fee = amount × 3% + ₹6. Both amount and fee are debited at submit, so an insufficient balance rejects the request instead of queueing it.
amount = 1000 fee = 1000 * 0.03 + 6 = 36.00 debit = 1036.00
FAQ
Do you validate IFSC before submitting?
The format is validated, but the receiving bank decides whether the account exists. A wrong account number fails at the bank and refunds automatically.
Can I cancel a payout in review?
Ask us on Telegram with the merchant_order_no while it is still in status 0. Once it reaches status 1 it is already in flight.
